Maplewood Farm was established in 1983 by Jim Vickers, DVM and Nel Vickers as a veterinary facility and a working camelid farm.
Maplewood Farm became the home of the first Peruvian Llamas and Alpacas ever to arrive in the United States and they were hand selected by Dr. Vickers. The memorable Peruvian sales of '93 and '94 were held at Maplewood Farm.
Maplewood Farm offers Llamas, Alpacas, both Suri and Huacaya, New Buyer Financing, New Owner Follow-up, Cria Health Care, Stud Service, and Fiber Products.
Located 5 hours north of Detroit in beautiful Northwest Michigan. Visitors are always welcome.
