Females

B. Per. Fino Beldad
Peruvian Laredo x Peruvian Brise
D.O.B. 9/11/07

She is that “a fine beauty”.  Another PPPeruvian Brise daughter of even greater value now, as we lost Brise this past Spring.  A '95 import from Macusani who outdid herself,  sharing her great offspring with us.  Beldad is a dark brown beauty, sired by our dark fine fleece producer, Per. Laredo.  Beldad is the only Brise offspring to have such deep color.  Thanks Laredo.  Beldad is a solid square female, with incredible conformation and a velvety soft rich fleece.  A wonderful buy at $7,000, and 1 yr. terms.

B. Per. Butterfly
Peruvian Catero x Peruvian Brise
D.O.B.7/2/06

She does flit around the barn!  Unlike her quiet sister Beldad, Butter is usually in the air or racing around.  She had her first cria in 2009.

A beautiful dark brown little female out of good old Laredo, again.  He seems to get dark color out of this usually light colored Brise line.  Butter is definitely the very best female we’ve had from our own Per. Catero.  A great solid girl, very correct and  a gorgeous dense fleece.  Butterfly and Beldad were to be keepers until I made the decision this year to retire.  This female will give you production to keep you very competitive in the Alpaca market.  Buy her at $9,500 and 1 yr. terms.

Bred to Accoyo Uncle Sam due 9/2/10.

D. Peruvian Santa Fe

A great white ¾ Accoyo female.  Her  dam, the late 98’ import Accoyo Dallas, owned by Barrie Lynn Wood.  Bred Dallas to our own Beligado, Futurity Reserve Champion and got this big gal with great density, topknot, coverage and very nice fiber stats. Beligado is an Accoyo Dracula son and his dam is our great female, Brise, mentioned earlier.  Santa  Fe just had her first cria this past year, a little female, sired by our own Accoyo Bravado, one of the great 1995 Peruvian imports.  This is a very unusual Accoyo line.  Should be some value to this little female as rare Accoyo bloodlines of this quality  don’t happen often.

Thank you Anne Kindt, Solid Gold Alpacas, a NEW BREEDER from Midland, Michigan, for your purchase of Santa Fe and her female cria Santa Monica.

L. Per. Lightsome Lisa
Peruvian Catero x Peruvian Lyrus
D.O.B. 8/17/09

Named for one of my great 4-H gals, who has put in much time and effort helping to train many Maplewood Farm babies.  Like her name, Lisa, the Alpaca is a happy, carefree little girl, with a fleece that illuminates brightness.

Her dam, Lyrus, can also be seen on the Huacaya Sale Page.  Her sire, Peruvian Catero, has assisted in creating Lisa’s wonderful solid conformation, treetrunk legs and soft curly topknot.  A great buy at $4500, 1 yr. terms

T. Per. Lift Ticket
Peruvian Laredo x PeruvianTansy
D.O.B. 6/24/06

“Liffy” is one of the great “Ticket line” of which the dam was our incredible production female of l995, PPPeruvian Tansy.  Tansy produced so many wonderful offspring.  Our own Tupelo, see the Huacaya Stud Page was  a son of Tansy.  “Liffy” is the last on the farm, out of our beautiful, late, Tansy, now passed away.

Our own fine fiber producer, Per. Laredo sired Lift Ticket and she has the fleece to prove it.  We bred her to Catero this past summer for her first cria.  I can’t promise you a girl, but I can promise you a wonderful fleece and perfect conformation.  She is a keeper.

Because she is my only “Tansy” daughter left, she sells bred for $9,000, 1 yr. terms.

Bred to Peruvian Beligado due 8/1/10.

L. Per. Lyrus
Peruvian Laredo x Peruvian Louise
D.O.B. 7/4/05

A daughter of another l995 great production females, PPPeruvian Louise, from Antacalla, region in Peru.  “Lisa”, also on the sale page is a Lyrus daughter as is “Lily”, also on the sale page. “Lyrus”, sired by our Peruvian Laredo is a great girl and another of my “keepers”.

She is the only daughter I have from Louise that I have kept.  She has another female baby at side, “Lisa”, who you can read about.  “Lily of the Field” is her first cria, now grown and ready to breed.  She is also on the Sale Page.  “Lyrus”, bred could be purchased for $7500 or Lyrus with daughter Lisa could be purchased for $9,900, 1 yr. terms.

Bred to Peruvian Catero due 8/18/10.

Accoyo Flashdance
Accoyo Bravado x Dances for Joy
9/18/09

Another of our well known, Maplewood Farm Accoyo Dance Line.  Her dam is Accoyo Dances for Joy, the original danceline girl.  The danceline females, a male hasn’t happened, have been selling for $30,000 and above as they are full Accoyo and  superior in all ways.  The other great thing about Flashdance is that her sire is Accoyo Bravado, a little used Accoyo line.  Bravado is co-owned with Blue Ribbon Alpacas of Maryland.  He is upwards of 15 yrs., so the bloodline is rare and will continue to be rare.  Flashdance is offered at $14,000, as she is not old enough to be bred.

An incredible female offered at a very affordable price.

She is offered, however, with a breeding to a full Accoyo male and 1 yr. terms.

Do not pass this up, a retirement special.

Bravado Girls

L. Per. Lolly Again

A dazzeling little female, brown blanket with white legs, fiber everywhere, face and head fiber in abundance, blocky solid body with so correct conformation.  Also, she likes everyone.  Just weaned, out of her l995, import, dam  PPPeruvian  Linen, our crazy colored female from Alianza.  This is a package of production promise, perfect  health and colorful offspring in her future.  Had a wonderful Llama, years ago, who I named Lolly.  This “Lolly” so reminds me of her.

“Lolly” sells at the amazing price of $6000, 1 yr. terms.

Thank you Anne Kindt, Solid Gold Alpacas, a NEW BREEDER from Midland, Michigan, for your purchase of Lolly Again.

B. Per. Mariposa
Peruvian Laredo x Peruvian Butterfly
D.O.B. 7/20/09

This is a  little dark brown girl out of “Butterfly” and our beautiful Per. Laredo.  To come up with this dark brown color out of “Butter”, who is out of PPPeruvian Brise, is really quite unusual.  “Mariposa”, another butterfly, but in Spanish.  She  is a sweet, perfect dark brown female, fine of fleece, perfect conformation, solid , healthy and weaned by Spring.  She does sell with a breeding to any of our Maplewood Farm Studs.  Lots of history with this girl.  Purchase price of $5,500, 1 yr. terms.

Accoyo Sundance
Accoyo DeChado x Dances for Joy
9/10/08

Another from the famous “danceline”.  A full Accoyo female, out of Accoyo Dechado, a 1998 Accoyo Dallas son.  DeChado, born and bred here at Maplewood Farm, is now owned by Long View Grange in Wisconsin. He has sired several full Accoyo super females for us.

A beautiful young female, ready to breed this Spring.  A fancy topknot, face fiber, tree trunk legs, density and the full Accoyo line behind her, makes this young female a huge plus in your production female herd. To own her, is to be ahead of the game.   Sells with a breeding to a full Accoyo male for $15,000 at 1 yr. terms.

G. Peruvian Glomiteb
Peruvian Pewter x Gertraves
6/30/09

We call her “Glo-Plug”.  A rose-gray young female out of our own herdsire, Peruvian Pewter and l995, import fawn colored, PPPeruvian Gertraves.  “Pewter” is a “Silvio” son, with a micron count of 16.  He passes it on.  His offspring are super fine.  “Glo”, however has an incredible density which often does not go along with fineness.  If you should purchase her, you will learn what her name “Glomiteb” means.  She is pretty special, so hope you will find her price at $7000, very affordable.  1 yr. terms.

L. Per. Lily of the Field

Lily is a “Lyrus” daughter from 2008.  She is a beautiful beige or light fawn female, sired by the legendary “Jericho”.  I purchased a Jericho breeding from Magical Farm several years back.  The proceeds went to the “Katrina” hurricane problem.  I often think of “Lily” as my assistance to that on going New Orleans problem.  Lily is too beautiful to be a problem, but she is a gentle reminder that all of us can help in some way.  Great conformation, beautiful multi colored fawn, fine fleece, full top knot and of course, those “Jericho” genes.  We offer her at the purchase price of  $7000.  A breeding could be part of the price.  1 yr. terms.

Thank you Anne Kindt, Solid Gold Alpacas, a NEW BREEDER from Midland, Michigan, for your purchase of Lily of the Field.

L. Peruvian Black Lable
Peruvian Tupelo x Peruvian Linen
D.O.B. 7/25/07

Sired by our own Peruvian Tupelo and original import PPPeruvian Linen, Lable’s a black young male, ready to begin breeding.  He has important ribbons from the show circuit.  Lable has an unbelievable staple length, and has the genetic possibility of throwing anything from the dark colors, gray all the way to black.  Buy two females and Lable could be yours at no charge.  Individually, he would sell for $2500.

B. Peruvian Chinook
Peruvian Tupelo x Peruvian Breezy
9/14/09

A gentle wind, flowing from the Rocky Mountains, his dam, Breezy, a soft summer brown breeze.  A little guy at this time, with curly, crimpy, fiber.

He is covered with fiber from head to his toes.  His dark brown dam is the daughter of our original import from 1994, PPeruvian Blossom, a white.  We bred Blossom to “Killer Joe”, a Black Mesquite son and she produced  “Breezy”, a nice dark brown girl.  To keep this color going, we bred “Breezy” to Tupelo and look what happened – Our gorgeous, fibered little “Chinook”.  He begins showing this spring.  Because he is so young, he would sell for $1500 or could be part of a female package.
